Connect Your AWS Account
Follow these steps to deploy the Warcostt cross-account role via CloudFormation, allowing secure, read-only scanning access to your infrastructure.
Download CloudFormation Template
This template creates a read-only role (`WarcosttCrossAccountRole`) with policies for SecurityAudit, Billing, and ReadOnlyAccess.
Download cross-account-role.yamlDeploy in Target Account
a. Log into your target AWS Account console.
b. Go to CloudFormation → Create stack → With new resources (standard).
c. Choose Upload a template file, select the downloaded YAML file, and click Next.
d. Enter a Stack name like Warcostt-Access.
e. Optional: Update the TrustedAccount parameter if needed.
f. Acknowledge IAM resource creation and click Submit.
Copy Role ARN
Once the stack status reaches CREATE_COMPLETE, navigate to the Outputs tab. Copy the generated RoleARN value.
Final Step: Add Your Account
Take the copied Role ARN to the Manage Accounts section to link your infrastructure to Warcostt.
